There was just one one more thing I needed to do before I could say farewell to New Orleans…have a a real Po Boy from Johnny’s. A breakfast meal was all I had, so it’s good they opened at 8 AM! Turns out they have breakfast Po Boys too! Score!
Steve and I shared a cheesy and delicious omelet Po Boy. It hit the spot.
It hit the spot so much in fact, that we got a catfish to go. It tasted great for lunch prior to boarding the plane.
But now it’s great to be home. I’m not too keen on the whole heading back to work thing. Or that its 20 degrees cooler! But otherwise coming home is great. The kitties gave us a great big welcome!
The weather forecast looks like its warming up, just in time for seed planting time.
And we hung our new artwork in the dining room!

Plus the artwork that was in that location has already been relocated. Now it’s time for rest…
