As Summer is coming to a close.

What a great summer we had in Washington!!! This is a time to reflect on what worked in the garden and what didn’t. I planted my tomatoes in the wrong place this year, so my bounty was not as much as years past, so they will be planted in a different location next year. But most everything else did well, even the deer got fed. This to is time to think of any additions to the garden. I’m putting in a cutting garden next year, so planning the layout and have started ordering my plants. I’m excited to get the cutting garden started. I have ordered new peonies and dahlias so far, and I’m eyeing a new climbing rose for the arbor entry. I also like seating in my gardens, you have to have a place to have a cocktail and enjoy the natural beauty all around you. The air always smells fresher in the garden.
