When the garden gives you beans
For the first time in my years of gardening my dill and beans are producing at the same time. My beans are so long I had to use quart jars, they will be perfect for Bloody Marys. I used a simple recipe of equal portions of raw apple cider vinegar and water. I put a grape leaf in the bottom of the jar to keep the crispness of the beans. You can put what your heart desires for flavor, in these I put dill and garlic in the one, and garlic and basil in the other. Both jars also got about a teaspoon of kosher salt. Process in a hot water bath boiling for 10 minutes. Happy Gardening.
