Surprise Potatoes

If anyone has ever planted potatoes, you know that you will get some volunteers for years to follow. Well, this year, we did a whole garden revamp. Hubby took the bulldozer to the old garden, then numerous rounds with the rototiller, and still volunteers popped up. I left a few of them just for some added foliage. To my surprise, the potatoes were coming out of the ground. I have never grown potatoes like this, even when trying to. Garden surprises are so beautiful, and homemade hash browns are what was for breakfast.
